Wat Chedi Jed Yod
A stucco figure on one of the outer walls of the wihaan of Wat Chedi Jed Yod in Chiang Mai (fig.), which was built in 1455 by the royal command of Phaya Thilokarat, the 12th King of the Lan Na Kingdom.
This ancient temple is also known as Wat Photharam Maha Wihaan and features several elaborately sculpted bas-reliefs of thevada. Though most are damaged now, many were originally depicted with a wai or phranommeua gesture.
