Cause: |
To commemorate 120 years of
diplomatic relations between Thailand and Japan, ties that
were officially established on 26 September 1887. To mark
the event, Thailand built a Thai pavilion in the Ueino Park
in Tokyo, as a gift to mark the anniversary and to honour
the people of Japan, where at that time circa 50,000 Thais
resided, while about 36,000 Japanese were living in
Thailand. |
