  Bhuridatta and Alambayana

This mural at Wat Neramit Wipatsanah (fig.) in Loei depicts the scene from the Bhuridatta Chadok in which the Prince of the Nagas is depicted coiled around the termite mound, which he uses as a seat for meditation, as well as Alambayana, the Brahmin snake charmer chanting the magic spell behind a fan in order to capture the great serpent.
