Tawai phra traipidok, the act of giving (tawai) a volume of the Tripitaka (traipidok) to a monk or temple, is a form of tamboon. These monks in Wat Phra Sri Rattana-mahathat offer some volumes for sale, so they can be offered and placed in the bookcase in the back.
