Phra Thihnang Anantasamahkom
The Phra Thihnang Anantasamahkom Throne Hall is located in Bangkok's Dusit district at a large square called Royal Plaza, on which the annual Military Parade of the Royal Guards, which is known as Trooping the Colour, is held (fig.).
It was commissioned by King Rama V and constructed between 1908 and late 1915 AD, with its cornerstone being laid on 11 November 1908. It is built in the Italian Renaissance architectural style and features a large dome at its centre (fig.).
