Kreuang soong are fans, similar to a talapat or pad yot, but attached to an approximate two meter long handle. They symbols of royalty or honour, and are used either stationary or carried around in processions, such as in royal ceremonies. They are usually in the form of lotus buds (fig.), often kranok-shaped (fig.).
