Podocarpus fleuryi or Nageia fleuryi, known in Vietnamese as kim giao, has a rather straight trunk and a pyramidal crown, with horizontal or slightly pendulous branches (fig.).

The bark is brown-grey, peeled off into fragments and here also with some white and green fungus growth.
