A man in the Den Quan Thanh temple courtyard (fig.) practicing combat-like poses with a pair of hook swords, in a form of vo thuat (fig.) which uses a Chinese martial arts weapon, that in Chinese is known as gou.

 

With tai chi-like moves, he sways these large crowbar-like swords with pointed ends and additional sickle-shaped knifes near the grip, frequently freezing in a certain stance and holding the hook swords still.
