A forest dwelling in Mae Hong Son (fig.), made from wood and bamboo, and with a thatched roof of ton phluang leaves (fig.).
The giant leaves are folded over long bamboo sticks (fig.) and secured with thin bamboo strips called tok (fig.), and then attached onto the framework of the roof.
