Wichai Prasit Fort
Wichai Prasit Fort in Bangkok, is located on the banks of the Chao Phraya river in Thonburi, and was built by the French in the reign of King Narai (fig.).
Later, it was connected with the royal residence of King Taksin, now known as Phra Rachawang Deum or Thonburi Palace (fig.), and at the end of the Thonburi Period, it became the execution ground for this unfortunate king (fig.).
