Wat Tham Seua
is a Buddhist temple complex in
Krabi located in a valley and surrounded
by forested mountains and caves, that used to be the
natural habitat of
tigers.
Later a meditation center was built at this location,
which over time evolved into a temple. |
Adjacent to and part of the temple
is a high mountain, of which the
summit can
be reached by climbing a
steep and
strenuous stairway with 1,237 steps. |
