Wat Ratchathiwat
The outside of the ubosot of Wat Ratchathiwat, formerly known as Wat Samorai, was in the Rattanakosin Period completely refurbished in Khmer-style by H.R.H. Prince Narisara Nuwattiwong.
It is the first aranyawasi temple or forest monastery from the Thammayut Buddhist Sect and as a monk, prior to becoming the Siamese monarch, King Mongkut lived in this temple.
