Paphiopedilum concolor,
commonly referred to as
Yellow Lady's Slipper,
has pale yellowish to yellow flowers, with tiny dark
brownish spots that spread outward from the centre, whilst decreasing in density
and size.
The lip of flower, which is
modified into a slipper-shaped pouch, only has a few faint spots at its top,
near the opening of the pouch and smaller in size than those on the leaves.
