This adult Orchid Mantis, which is known by the Latin scientific names Hymenopus coronatus and Hymenopus bicornis, is a species of flower mantis.

In their immature stage, Orchid Mantises have some additional purple colouring, resembling certain orchids, such as the Cheetah or Lai Rung (fig.).
