Mahathat Chedi Ming Molih Sri Burapah
The Buddhist temple Mahathat Chedi Ming Molih Sri Burapah, located in the tambon Nong Khahng Khok of Chonburi, is located on a hilltop near Khao Khiao (fig.), overlooking this seaside town and provincial capital.
Its pagoda, built in a style akin to that of the Mahabodhi pagoda in Bodhgaya, is 35 meter high and its green colour refers to Khao Khiao, which literally means ‘Green Hill’.
