Tao Ramathep
Statue of Tao Ramathep the guardian god of the holy relics of the Buddha. He is generally depicted together with the demon-god Rahu (fig.). Besides it stands a Japanese Daruma doll (fig.).
Sometimes Tao Ramathep is seated in half lotus position on the body of a coiled snake, similar to the pahng nahg prok pose with Vishnu (fig.) and some Buddha images (fig.).
