Silhouette of the Phra Phutta Monthon Buddha image in Nakhon Pathom, surrounded by a glow, that is referred to as a rasmie (fig.), and Buddhists performing a thaksinahwat on Visakha Bucha Day, i.e. a triple circular procession around a temple, important shrine or stupa, in a clockwise direction, with the temple or shrine on the right, and while holding a small candle, three incense sticks and a lotus flower (fig.). Both the three incense sticks and the triple circumnavigations represent the Triple Gem. In the background is a golden silhouette of Wat Phra Kaew (fig.), i.e. the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (fig.) in Bangkok, including its battlements, which are called bai sema (fig.)..
