Portrait
of King
Bhumipon Adunyadet
with in the background a dairy farm with wind turbines,
which refer to the King's
Chang Hua Man (ชั่งหัวมัน)
Royal Project at Tha Yang (ท่ายาง) in
Phetchaburi,
also known as the
Nai Luang
Country House, where Holstein Friesian milk cows are raised
as a way to promote dairy farming among local farmers. The
farm also includes wind turbines and solar panels for power
generation, an experimental plot of land for planting
economic crops, and experiments for the production of bio
diesel and organic fertilizer, and a poultry raising
project. In the centre is the projects emblem, which
consists of a dark blue, droplet-shaped shield, with a
silver royal
chadah-crown
with a
yan-sign,
and the text Krohngkaan Chang Hua Man Tahm Phra Rachadamri
Jangwat
Phetchaburi (โครงการ ชั่งหัวมัน ตามพระราชดําริ
จังหวัดเพชรบุรี), i.e.
‘Chang
Hua Man Project By Royal Initiative Phetchaburi Province’.
Chang Hua Man
could further be translated as
‘Never Mind’ or ‘It
Doesn't Matter’, though it could literally also be
translated as ‘Weighing Tubers’ or ‘Weighing Cassava’. |
