A young adult Grey-breasted Spiderhunter, spotted in a garden near Khao Sok National Park in Surat Thani Province, is sipping nectar from the blossom of a Flame of the Forest (fig.).

This bird belongs to the family Nectariniidae, which also includes Sunbirds, a similar bird species but with shorter bills.
