  Green Sandpiper

A Green Sandpiper, a small wader or shorebird, that prefers freshwater and occurs in wetlands of both Asia and Africa, as well as in Europe.

 

It has dark greenish-brown upperparts, a greyish head and breast, and white underparts. Its legs are greenish and it may have an indistinct white supercilium.
