A Common Map, which was spotted in Hanoi, in northern Vietnam. It has a white to pale ochraceous-yellow upperside, with black veins that form an intricate pattern of map-like markings, hence its common name.

The distinctive pattern of the wings is also somewhat reminiscent of stained glass (fig.).
