The Thai number 100 (๑๐๐)
in gold, with the first zero being designed as a gold coin with a
profile portrait of King
Bhumiphon.
Underneath the portrait of the King is the Thai text ngeun phaendin nan kheua
ngeun khong prachachon thang
chaht
(เงินแผ่นดินนั้น
คือ เงินของประชาชนทั้งชาติ), which freely
translates as
‘The Nation's Money is the
Money of All the People’. The second zero bears a picture of the former building
of the
Office of the
Auditor General
in the
Grand Palace
in
Bangkok
(fig.).
In the the bottom curl of the Thai number 1 (๑),
is again the number 100, but in Arabic script. The individual digits are
somewhat overlapping and inside the last zero is the logo of the Office of the
Auditor General, i.e. a double
phaan
topped with
the
Thai Constitution
(fig.)
and a scale (fig.).
Underneath the logo, on the base of the zero, are the dates 2458-2558, referring to the
centennial anniversary. The background is a picture of a blue sky with
some white clouds. |
