1. A rover and a cub scout making the three-finger scouting salute, and on the right, a cub scout and a girl scout (guide) helping a blind man to cross the street; 2. different scouting branches doing scouting activities, i.e. a) rover boy scouts in beige uniforms putting up a tent for camping, b) an air scout in a blue uniform standing on a watchtower and blowing on a buffalo horn, c) sea scouts in white uniforms building a makeshift raft with empty oil barrels, d) girls scouts in green uniforms lining up for inspection; 3. King Bhumipon Adunyadet, who is the official Chief Scout (fig.), and Queen Sirikit Kitthiyagon (fig.) conferring a flag and awards to the Civil Boy Scouts, a branch of scouting unique to Thailand and known in Thai as look seua chao ban (ลูกเสือชาวบ้าน), which literally translates as Village Scouts; 4. Scout members from the Asia-Pacific region at the 15th Asia-Pacific Scout Conference, hosted by Thailand in 1986, as well as the logo of the Asia-Pacific Scout Region, i.e. a yellow sun setting in blue-white sea waves, behind the logo of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, i.e. a purple, circular badge with a French lily or fleur-de-lis with two stars in the center, surrounded by a piece of rope tied with a reef knot. Each stamp also has the emblem of the National Scout Organization of Thailand, a fleur-de-lis with two stars and a tiger head over a banner with the Thai scout motto sia chihp yah sia sat (เสียชีพอย่าเสียสัตย์), which freely translates as ‘Death before Dishonesty’.
