thang
A thang is a traditional wooden pail or bucket, with metal rings and a wooden grip in the middle of the opening, leveled with the top of the bucket.
They are used for storing uncooked rice and stand at the origin of a measure of capacity, especially for rice, equivalent to 20 liters.
