wen fang si bao
Several sets with Chinese writing brushes (fig.), decorated ink sticks (fig.), inkstones (fig.) and some paper, essential objects used in Chinese calligraphy (fig.).
They are called wen fang si bao in Chinese, meaning the ‘Four Jewels of the Writing House’ or the ‘Four Treasures of the Study’. Besides this, sets often include a brush rest, a Chinese seal (fig.) and seal paste.
