Whereas thong chai chaleum phon thahaan reua is the Thai victory flag in honour of its sailors, thong chahn is the Thai naval jack.

Both are the same flag and consist of the national tricolour, with in the centre the emblem of the Royal Thai Navy, printed in yellow.
