Tah jorakae, i.e. ‘crocodile eyes’, is the Thai term used in iconography to refer to a style of eyes with certain characters in the Ramakien, in which the upper eyelid partly covers the eyeball. If the eyes are wide open eyes, the style is referred to as tah phlohng (fig.).
