A
Skipper, i.e. a member of a family of
butterflies with thick heads, large eyes, and relatively small wings in
proportion to their bodies. It typically has crochet hook-like antennae.
This one is
likely a member of
the species Zographetus, either a Purple and
Gold Flitter (Zographetus satwa) or
possibly a Small Flitter (Zographetus
rama). It was spotted in
Chiang Rai
province.
