A boy at Wat Sri Boon Reuang in Bangkok, is making a krathong, a banana leave vessel, i.e. a small container folded from the leaves of a banana plant, here made to be used as floating flower arrangement (fig.) during the festival of Loi Krathong. Other types of krathong are used as a container for food.
