lakhon yok
Dancing puppets, called tukkatah ram thai (fig.), are placed in front of shrines and spirit houses, in order to have a more permanent performance of kaebon (fig.), and that is known as lakhon yok.
In this photo, the dancers are placed on the balcony of a spirit house in traditional northern Thai-style featuring rooftops decorated with kalae.
