kong (takong)
A kong or takong is a bamboo basket (fig.) used as a tool for keeping aquatic animals, such as crabs, fish, shrimps, clams, etc.
It has a narrow bottleneck-like opening that can be closed off with a lid in the form of funnel-shaped spikes, known in Thai as nga (fig.).
