Khao mok kai, i.e. rice, that is
fried, mixed and seasoned with a sauce made from
curry
powder and some other herbs.
These include ground
turmeric, ground
cinnamon, clove, star anise, coriander
seeds, black pepper, fennel, and black cardamoms, and then topped with fried
red onion slices and with fried chicken, which are prepared separately.
