kyi-zi
A kyi-zi is a small brass plate gong sometimes used by Burmese monks on bintabaat, i.e. alms round.
The kyi-zi used by monks and novices is usually bell-shaped (fig.) and is hit three times in succession as a symbol of the Trairat.
