Yellow Pansy (female)
The female Yellow Pansy is similar to the male but above also has round, ocelli-like, black-edged blue spots.
There are two on each of the forewings and two on each of the hindwings, though one of those on the forewings is rather obscure.
The female underside is also similar to that of males (fig.), but generally has heavier and more clearly defined markings.
