The stupa of Wat Thammongkon Thao Boon Nontha Wihaan in Phra Khanong district in Bangkok is built in the style of the Maha Bodhi pagoda at Bodhgaya, in India. Its spire consists of a chat made of 1,133 baht pure gold and is adorned with 1,063 diamonds. In the night the top of the stupa is illuminated and becomes a beacon in the neighbourhood.
