Wat Sawang Arom
Wat Sawang Aroma (fig.) in Kamphaeng Phet has several Luang Pho Buddha images. The first one is known as Luang Pho Umong, as it was found undernesth a molehill-like rise, buried in a tunnel-like cavity within the temple's compound.
The temple also houses a number of other important Buddha images, including this Luang Pho Maha Mongkon statue, which is depicted seated in the bhumisparsa pose in a half lotus position.
The Wihaan Kaew, i.e. the ‘Crystal Hall’, houses a reclining Buddha known as Luang Pho Phutta Kohdom, the latter being a Thai term for ‘Gautama Buddha’. The reclining pose represents the Buddha's Mahaparinirvana.
In the back of the temple is a small but lush garden with a walking Buddha, that is known as Luang Pho Pratahn Phon, and which stands in front of a tall wooden drum tower (fig.).
