Wat Rong Seua Ten in Chiang Rai is also commonly referred to as the Blue Temple.

 

The stairs of the prayer hall are decorated with both nagamakara (fig.) and legged nagah (fig.), i.e. Burmese-style dragons (fig.).

Against the outer back wall of the ubosot is a white standing Buddha image with an abhaya mudra performed with the left hand.

 

And in the back of it is a blue pagoda with a golden dome and peak, and which is adorned with characters from Thai and Burmese Buddhism, such as Shin Thiwali (fig.).

The prayer hall houses a white Buddha image seated in the lotus position and with a bhumisparsa mudra.
