This shiny mushroom-shaped hall, situtated at the compound of Wat Phraphuttha Saengtham in Saraburi, houses a giant Buddha statue seated in the lotus position whilst making a dhammachakka mudra, alleged to be the largest of its kind in the world.

The pose, also known as pahng pathom thetsanah, symbolizes the Buddha's first public discourse of his doctrine which was given to five ascetics at Mrigadava, a deer park in Sarnath, hence the depictions of two deer and the five panjawakkih at the base of the statue.

The Phra prathaan or principal Buddha image at the temple's ubosot is seated in the half lotus position and is depicted with a varada mudra, indicating the ‘granting of a wish’. This huge temple complex is set on 300 rai of land, i.e. circa 48 hectares.
