  Wat Kreun Kathin

Wat Kreun Kathin is a countryside Buddhist temple complex in Lopburi that consists of three sections, i.e. the main temple area with the ubosot, wihaan, Chedi Phrathat which enshrines relics given by the Supreme Patriarch.

 

The second section is a well maintained park with rock gardens and edifices of animals and objects related to Thailand and Buddhism, and at its centre the Phra Phut Kathanyu Buddha statue in the pahng tawaai naet pose.

The last section consists of a stone Khmer-style prasat hin tower and some other Khmer style edifices and Hindu statues made in or carved from sandstone, including a reddish prasat onto which a large golden naga is entwined.
