Thailand

Wang Theptaroh Daen Mangkon Hom, in English referred to as Dragon Tree Sculpture Garden, is a 25 rai plot of land in Trang, in an area that in the past had many Selasian Wood Trees, which in Thai are known as ton thaparoh. After most of these trees were cut down to clear the area in order to plant rubber trees, Ajaan Charun Kaewla-iad (fig.), i.e. the architect of the project, took reportedly about 1,400,000 kilogram of the deadwood and created a theme park out of it, including a dragon gate and three giant dragons, i.e. baby dragon, a mother dragon, and a father dragon, of which the latter is the largest of the three, for which 18,000 kilogram of Selasian wood was used, and which took 4 months to complete.
