Oblique Striped Fruit-piercing Moth  
			Common designation 
			for a species of moth in the Noctuidae family, 
			with the scientific names Eudocima hypermnestra and 
			Phalaena hypermnestra. Its
			
 
forewings are olive green with white smudges, resembling a mildew infested leaf, 
whilst the hindwings are orange with some black spots and a black border that increases in width towards the apex. The body is mainly 
orange at the lower back of the abdomen, whereas the colour becomes gradually 
similar to that of the forewings towards and on the head. 
			It has large, dark eyes. In Thai, it is known as 
			
			
	                phi se 
			muan wahn khiht chiang (ผีเสื้อมวนหวานขีดเฉียง).
