  Thai-Belgian Bridge

Thailand

The Thai-Belgian Bridge on Rama IV Road in Bangkok is a flyover that crosses the Witthayu Road Intersection near Lumphini Park.

The viaduct was constructed in the mid-eighties by Belgian engineers as a gift from the Belgian government and was the first of many flyovers in Bangkok. The viaduct originally stood on the largely residential Leopold II Boulevard in Brussels and was built to improve traffic during the 1958 World Fair.
