 Cause: Introduction of Siam's first and own postage stamps. Prior to this and until 1 January 1886, postal services were mainly overseas and to send mail the country used the British consular postal services of the Singapore Post Office in Thailand, as well as their postage stamps, which were overprinted with a letter B for Bangkok.
