Different fighting attitudes as used in muay khaak cheuak and the modern version muay thai, namely: 1. Te (เตะ), literally ‘Kick’, but in English referred to as the Roundhouse Kick; 2. Sok Klab (ศอกกลับ) i.e. ‘Reversed Elbow’; 3. Khao Loy (เข่าลอย), literally ‘Floating Knee’, in English referred to as the Flying Knee; and 4. Wai Kruh (fig.), literally ‘Greeting to the Teacher’, i.e. a Ritual Homage, usually performed in the form of a ritual dance known as Ram Muay (fig.)
