		      Bagan, 
whose head 
protrudes at the  
Tantkyitaung Zedi (fig.) 
across the
			
			Irrawaddy River (fig.) 
. As is the case at the latter temple, 
pilgrims to this place 
						come here to cleanse themselves by pouring cups of water 
						over this naga tail, 
						doing this as many times as their age, plus one.
