Sugarcane White Grub (female)
A large beetle, commonly known as Sugarcane White Grub, after their larvae that feed on the roots of sugarcane, and in Thai called malaeng noon luang.
Females are overall whitish-grey, whereas males are pale brownish (fig.). On average these beetles measure between 3.5 to 4.7 centimeters.
