A male and somewhat larger female Stilt-legged Fly, probably of the genus Taeniaptera trivittata. In Thai, species in this family are called malaeng wan klaay mot, meaning ‘ant-like fly’.

Note that the legs of the smaller male are of a lighter, more brownish colour.
