The State Railway of Thailand's 4-6-2 Pacific Steam Locomotive No. 824, imported from from Japan and put in service between 1949 and 1950, is still operative today, together with the Pacific Steam Locomotive No. 850 (fig.), for use on special occasions (fig.).
