The
Singapore Supreme
Court, located in the heart of the civic district, i.e.
opposite Parliament House, is easily recognized by the
building's giant horizontal disc, which is
said to represent the impartiality of justice.
The disc, seen clearly in
this pictures made from the South Bridge near Boat Quay,
also serves
as a modern interpretation of the dome on the Supreme
Court's former building, from where it moved in June
2005.
