A Red-billed Blue Magpie in Chiang Mai Zoo. Its upperparts are greyish blue, with somewhat brighter wing primaries, whilst the underparts are greyish cream.

The upperside of the tail is a also a little brighter blue and ends in a broad white tip, whereas the underside of the tail is greyish cream, with black bars from below the vent to halfway down the tail.

In flight, its greyish cream underparts and underwings are  clearly visible.
